Mike Rosoff of SCMH Nominated for Make-A-Wish Volunteerism Award
Southern California Material Handling’s
(SCMH) Michael “Mike” Rosoff received notification from Make-A-Wish Orange
County and the Inland Empire Friday, March 20, 2015 of his nomination for the Spirit of Volunteerism
Award under the Human and Community Category.
Mike, SCMH’s Warranty Supervisor
has been serving Make-A-Wish for over 12 years as a wish granter and a special
events volunteer. Mike is also the Make-A-Wish “ambassador” to SCMH keeping the
company abreast with relevant activities and opportunities for employees to be
able to help out and participate. Mike is extensively involved with the recent
bake sales and apple candy grams SCMH facilitated to raise funds for
Make-A-Wish.
According to Make-A-Wish, Mike is
being nominated for “selflessly donating his own funds and resources to support
events throughout the year and most recently helped to solicit a high-level
Walk for Wishes sponsorship from his company.”
