With the use of the turbocharger in
the engine, this diesel lift truck is able to maintain the performance levels
that operators have become accustomed to while using much less fuel.
Preliminary testing has shown the new model is performing with around 18 percent
more fuel efficiency than the previous model. Simply put, the 4-cylinder engine
is able to provide the same productivity with a fraction of the fuel, and
ultimately, a fraction of the cost of operation.

new standard, the 3.4L four-cylinder turbo-charged engine features an advanced
DOC/SCR maintenance-free aftertreatment solution that meets or exceeds the U.S.
EPA Tier 4 Final emission requirements while delivering high performance,
increased torque and increased fuel efficiency. The DOC/SCR compact
aftertreatment is transparent to the operator and is designed to be maintenance
free for the life of the engine, maximizing productivity.
