April 26, 2014, Irvine California Southern California Material Handling (SCMH) walked to help fulfill wishes of children battling life-threatening medical conditions. Represented by 16 volunteers, Team SCMH trekked the Great OC Park alongside numerous volunteers from institutions within the Orange County and Inland Empire.

Through the inspiring stories of SCMH Warranty Supervisor Mike Rossoff—who has been an active Make-A-Wish volunteer lead for 11 years— COO Mike Wolfe and Sr. HR Generalist Gabby Duran led the campaign to raise funds enabling SCMH to join Walk for Wishes. With the generosity of the employees, their families, and friends plus a successful bake sale, SCMH exceeded its target.

Make a Wish Foundation is an international non-profit organization formed in 1980 after granting Chris Greicieus’ wish of becoming a police officer. Shortly after his wishes were fulfilled by stangers who pulled resources together, Chris lost his battle to leukemia at the age of seven.

SCMH Announces Relocation to New Whittier Headquarters

Pico Rivera, California, April 9, 2014:  Southern California Material Handling (SCMH) Chief Operating Officer Mike Wolfe announced during a recent all-employee meeting relocation to a new facility.
The relocation to 12393 Slauson Avenue, Whittier CA, 90606 will commence in the first week of June and will be home to about 100 of SCMH’s current employees in the Pico Rivera branch. The San Fernando Valley branch will retain its current address on 8124 Deering Avenue, Canoga Park, CA 91304.

Revitalized Website Launched for Southern California's Trusted Lift Truck Company

If you were to be reborn, would you like to change anything? Your birthdate? Birthplace? Siblings? Parents?
Some won’t, some would. But I bet, all would choose to have a life lived to the fullest!

At Southern California Material Handing, SCMH , we are not attempting to change the circumstances of how we were born nor how we came to be. After all, our strength as a people, as a company, stems from our very meaningful history. We love our products. We love our services. We love what we all do. What we are trying to achieve with this re-launch, rebirth if you would, is how we intend to conduct the way we do things today, and beyond. To adapt to the ever-changing needs of our customers and business partners.

While we would be very much be retaining the values from which our brand is built, we will continue to evolve and strive to better ourselves in order to serve our clients more efficiently and effectively.

The new SCMH Website is compartmentalized for ease of Web surfing. At the top-most  page, our lift truck customers can search based on their immediate needs whether they are looking for new, used, or rental forklifts. Parts and service patrons can get to the page where they can see what services we offer in just one click! If they wish to proceed with an immediate quote, a “quote” button is readily available at the bottom.
In addition, our products may be easily sorted by brand, capacity, or power. This gives our customers a faster means of searching without having to go through multiple clicks.

Promos and ongoing specials, career, news, and helpful videos are among the other information a surfer may find useful when shopping a lift truck company in Southern California.

The revitalization of the SCMH website is among the tiny steps we, as a company, have taken towards evolving with technology and bringing our clients a fulfilling Web experience. Let’s just say it’s not a re-birth, just a brand new start.
